Last weekend typified my weird NFL year as I pushed a 3* on the Saints with an ill-timed bet of +8 before the line went up. In the NFL this year, I pushed both a 4* GOY and a 3*, both on New Orleans. I believe the line on this weekend's play will move and I think, unlike last week, the move favors a bet now:
2* Patriots/Broncos OVER 55
Reasoning: The line would be even higher were it not for the outstanding Denver defensive performance last week against San Diego. But.....these are the two premiere offenses in the NFL. Both teams know the only way to win is to outscore the other. Add in the weird forecast for the weekend of almost sauna like weather (upper 50's), we may have a shootout for the ages.
