This was intended to be a HIASIGO, but I dropped it down to a 5* POD..........

    CBB #592 Oregon -8..........5* POD

    CFB #208 Tulane -2............5* POD

    CBB
    565 Mzo - 1 1/2
    572 Az St -11 1/2.................3*

enough for today......going to go study NFL while I have Power........more sleet, ice, snow coming tonight.

    lock and load
I've got a 25 ft. redbud down in the backyard and the 50 ft. elm next door is leaning severely toward my fence and utility lines! If that one comes down, it takes out our house.

So far, my 40 ft. oak is hanging in there.

It won't stop! I just keeps coming down.

It sounds like a firing range outside with all the limbs and branches snapping.

exactly....same here U DOG....my buddy JOE from Tulsa just called me and he said the same thing..........trees touching the ground, snapping, and getting ready to snap..........

hope it dodges you U DOG..............I've also got a 50' Elm in the back yard, however; it already shedded its leaves, and the ice is on the limbs, but not a bunch of leaves to help build up the weight.......

hope you fare out OK Dog........I'm sure PAPI in Chicago is preparing for the worst, once it passes through here........

East Coast fixing to get another barrage..........

Well, up here in the NE corner it's finally stopped the precipitation around 6:30 our time. I understand the next wave should give us another .10 inches of ice followed by some snow. They're saying accumulations of snow could be significant along the Kansas line so I guess that includes us. We're about 20 miles south of the line.

I watched a huge elm branch fall directly onto the power line from the pole earlier. It caused a lot of movement but didn't bring it down. So far, so good!

My friend Dennis in Jenks says the same thing as Joe in Tulsa. The lines and trees just can't take much more. They still have power in their area, though. Hopefully we can get through this thing without too many more people losing the flow.
