    TENNESSEE @ NEW ENGLAND
    LINE:NEW ENGLAND -6.5
    OVER/UNDER:51.5

The BIG question last week was whether or not NcNair's nagging injuries could keep him and his team from beating the mighty Ravens. Despite throwing a season high THREE INT's, the Tits did in fact play well enough, and key plays by NcNair and George were the difference. Both remain hobbled by injuries, but each is expected to Start and we all know by now that both will play like the warriors they are.
New England is in off a bye week, possessing an exceptional 14-2 SU and 13-2-1 ATS record. At Home, the Pats were a perfect 8-0 both SU/ATS. Note also that NE was a perfect 7-0 when playing vs a team with a winning record this year and 9-1 ATS priced as a FAV. THESE NUMBERS ARE SIMPLY ASTONISHING IN THE PARITY DRIVEN NFL! Without elaborating, NE boasts an incredible Home Field Advantage, the brightest Defensive-Minded Coach in the NFL and a QB that manages the game about as well as anyone. Add to that the all important bye week and the Historical Dominance of the Home Team in this Round of the Playoffs and a call on the Patriots is almost a NO-BRAINER!
SO WHAT, YOU MAY ASK, IS THE CATCH?
I believe New England is slightly over-rated. Every Capper I've spoke with (EXCEPT MY SOURCE LAST NIGHT) is enamored with the fact the Pats held foes to just 3.7 points on average in their last 6 Home games overall. Make no mistake, THAT IS AN INCREDIBLE FEAT! But opposition must be considered in such instances and the Pats managed this remarkable figure against the: Giants, Browns, Cowgirls, Dolphins and the Bills.
Not a single one of those teams placed in the Top Half of the NFL's Scoring Department. In fact, those respective teams Ranked: 30th, 29th, 17th and 31st in the NFL's PPG category.
Note that the Tits Rank 5th in Scoring and possess the NFL's Co-MVP QB, who threw for 3,215 yards with 24 TD's and just 7 INT's in the Reg Season. THAT IS DESPITE BEING OUT 2 GAMES WITH INJURIES!
Aside from the Tits putting up 30 points on the Pats in Week 5, Playoff participant(s) Indy hung 34 on NE, and Denver posted 26 on them. Yes, the Pats D is awesome....NO ARGUING THAT! But, their Defense IS NOT impenetrable. New England was assisted to a great extent by a weak cast of Offensive Opponents.

SELECTION:TENNESSEE +6.5 AS MY PLAYOFF GAME OF THE WEEK (The mighty Titans easily hang under the inflated number here!)

      Nice write-up!

Aside from the Titan game on 10/5 all the other games mentioned were road games for NE. When the Titans put up 30 against NE the Titans were a scoring machine. Scoring 30+ in 6 straight and 7 of 8.

Good luck. Vegas loves to sucker people in with the 6.5 line. The public says OH a touchdown will cover. But wrong. Check the 6.5 lines and it rarely ******.
