WV hasn't played in eight days; they're 2-3 in last five games, 0-4 vs top 200 teams- best team they've beaten this season was #204 Marshall by 10.

Ohio outscored Richmond 46-18 in second half of 73-48 win LY vs the Spiders, who led 30-27 at half; Bobcats made 10-20 from arc, Richmond was 7-21 inside arc. Spiders won five of last six games, with best win vs #198 Wm&Mary; they're 2-3 overall vs top 100 teams. Ohio lost two of their last three games; they're 1-2 on road, losing by 10/17 at Ohio State, Oakland.

Armadillo: Sunday's List of 13: Wrapping up a sports Saturday......

13) Colorado State 48, Washington State 45-- Epic collapse by the Coogs, who led 45-30 with 3:00 to play, but fumbled twice and lost a game in which they were outgained 595-400, but led 35-13 late in second quarter.

12) USC 45, Fresno State 20-- Trojans have resilient kids, playing for three different head coaches this year; they crushed Fresno here, leading 35-6 at the half. Bulldogs were good on defense; USC's speed on defense smothered the Fresno offense. By far worst game of the day.

11) San Diego State 49, Buffalo 24-- Aztecs survived 13 penalties for 122 yards to beat MAC team that was favored. By the way, Buffalo's AD is son of the Duke AD, which is why Boibby Hurley is Buffalo's hoop coach.

10) UL-Lafayette 24, Tulane 21-- Someone needs to teach Tulane's coaches a course in game management; they screwed up the last minute of this game pretty badly, winding up with a 48-yard FG instead of trying one last pass into end zone to win game. ULL QB Broadway played this game with cast on his right arm. Cajuns are just fourth team in last 30 years to win the same bowl game three years in a row. Tulane tied game after trailing 21-0.

9) Shin Soo-Choo gets $130M for seven years from Texas; he had a .423 OB% last year, with 21 homers, 20 steals, 107 runs scored.

8) Brook Lopez broke his foot, is out for the year, as Nets' year from hell continues; Lopez already had a screw in the foot he re-broke.

7) Ohio State 64, Notre Dame 61-- Buckeyes were down 8 with 0:50 left, pulled game out in unlikely fashion. Teams combined to go 7-32 from arc.

6) North Carolina 97, Davidson 85 OT-- Tar Heels were 34-47 on foul line, Wildcats just 14-24. Carolina is one weird team- they lost to Belmont/UAB, beat Kentucky/Michigan State/Louisville, damn near lost this game.

5) Florida State 60, UMass 55-- First loss for Minutemen, very solid win for Seminoles that'll carry weight on Selection Sunday.

4) Illinois 65, Missouri 64-- Illini ended its 4-game skid in this rivalry game, played every year in St Louis. Mizzou only played seven guys.

3) Oregon 100, BYU 96 OT-- Ducks rallied to stay unbeaten, winning game they trailed by 7 with 2:25 left. BYU missed 14 of its 36 foul shots.

2) Oklahoma State 78, Colorado 73-- Buffs'' young guys inside got pushed around by OSU's big guys, but both of these teams will win at least one game in March Madness. Colorado was just 6-22 from arc.

1) Boston U, 83, Maryland 77-- Team leaving ACC for Big Dozen shouldn't lose to a team from Patriot League that jumped from America East.

First game in 15 days, first home game in 34 days for 3-8 Siena team that played #57 schedule in US with team ranked #339 in experience; Saints turn ball over 21.7% of time, shoot only 31.2% from arc. Hofstra is 3-6 with 6th-least experienced team; they lost by 29 at Louisville, but 11 in OT at Richmond, in its only two true road games. This is first game in eight days and second in 19 days for Hofstra.
