Haven't posted in a few days as the holidays kept me running all over but I listed what I am playing below.
Not sure if anyone watched that OKC vs. GS game last night but it was a great game to watch (and cash the over) as it brought back the good old NBA. Although it is my favorite sport to cap, the level of play has been going downhill for some time. "Back in the day" teams had 1,2 or maybe 3 stars on their teams and they played hard every night. Nowadays, most teams stink and only a few teams have 1 or more stars. They play like they don't care who wins or losses as they just clear it out and shoot. Last night was a pleasure as I gained a ton of additional respect for Russell Westbrook. This guy gets dumped on by the media and he just plays hard EVERY NIGHT. Last night, he caried OKC on his back with his scoring, defense and hustle. He was rewarded by his energy as he stole the ball and hit a 3 at the buzzer to win. As you know, I am a Philly fan and it feels like the last time we had a sell out was when the Spectrum was still standing. Westbrook (& Serge & Durant) play energizes that crowd and that place was rockin. Kudos to Mr. Westbrook and go OKC.
