Hamilton (11-8) @ Toronto (11-7)—TiCats won two of three meetings this year, winning last two 33-19 (+3.5) here in Week 15, then beating Argos 24-18 (pick) the next week in Guelph, after Argos had beaten them 39-34 (-3.5) here in season opener. Hamilton’s win at Rogers Centre was its first in last five visits there. Toronto stumbled down stretch, going 2-3 in last five games, 1-3 in last four home games. Argos are 3-6 as home favorites this season, 1-5 in last six tries. Hamilton won five of last six games; they’re 4-2 in last six games as an underdog (4-5 overall), 10-4 SU after starting season 1-4- they’re 4-3 SU in last seven road games, with wins at Montreal/Toronto. Nets at Clippers: What bettors need to know

Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Clippers (-10, 203.5)

The high-scoring Los Angeles Clippers will go for their fourth straight win when when they host the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night. Los Angeles leads the league with an average of 110 points and has scored at least 107 over its winning streak, including a 111-103 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. The Nets likely will be without Deron Williams after the point guard sprained his right ankle early Friday in a 100-98 overtime win at Phoenix.

The Clippers have won six of eight since losing their season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers, including all four home games. The offense has needed to be explosive, considering the defense is allowing an average of 106 points, second worst in the league. That should be good news for Brooklyn, which hit the century mark for the third time this season in beating the Suns for its first road win in five tries.

ABOUT THE NETS (3-5): Joe Johnson gave Brooklyn a much-needed victory, hitting the tying shot late in regulation and then nailing the game-winning layup in overtime against Phoenix. He finished with 13 points and has now scored in double figures in five straight games. Center Brook Lopez can top that, collecting at least 13 points in every game this season.

ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (6-3): Blake Griffin is shooting a career-best 57.1 percent from the field in the early going while averaging a team-high 22.1 points. Chris Paul is running away with the league’s assist lead (12.8), averaging nearly three more than the nearest player. Center DeAndre Jordan is third in the NBA with an average of 12.9 rebounds, 4.6 more than any other season in his six-year career.

Penguins at Devils: What bettors need to know

Pittsburgh Penguins at New Jersey Devils (+129, 5)

Seven points separate the New Jersey Devils from the Metropolitan Division-leading Pittsburgh Penguins. The Devils host the Penguins on Saturday hoping to close that gap and avenge a season-opening loss in Pittsburgh. The Penguins won that game 3-0, and it took New Jersey seven more contests to earn its first victory of the season.

Both teams are playing the second half of back-to-back contests. The Devils, who have scored just 38 goals in 19 games, dropped a 2-0 decision at home to the Los Angeles Kings on Friday, while Pittsburgh defeated the Nashville Predators at home to snap a three-game losing streak. Martin Brodeur is likely to start Saturday’s game for New Jersey, while Penguins backup netminder Jeff Zatkoff could get the start after Marc-Andre Fleury posted his 11th victory on Friday.

ABOUT THE PENGUINS (12-7-0): James Neal recorded two points in Friday’s win, bringing his total to three in three games after missing 15 contests with an upper-body injury suffered against New Jersey. Neal’s return is a good sign for Evgeni Malkin, who has 18 points and is on a six-game assist streak but has not scored a goal since Oct. 17. Defenseman Paul Martin returned to the lineup Friday and notched an assist after missing two games with a lower-body injury.

ABOUT THE DEVILS (6-8-5): New Jersey is relying on its veterans early in the season, with Brodeur earning more starts than Cory Schneider in net and fellow 41-year-old Jaromir Jagr leading the team with 14 points. Defenseman Marek Zidlicky, 36, is second on the team with 11 points, while the 37-year-old Patrik Elias saw his four-game point streak come to an end in Friday’s loss. Blue-liner Anton Volchenkov missed Friday’s game with a leg injury and is considered day-to-day.
