I haven't posted an NBA play since Memorial Day, but San Antonio's win Sunday sets up a tremendous opportunity.
3* Heat To Win Championship -130
1) This is both a math and fundamentals play. I strongly believe Miami wins tonight and keeps the series going. This bet is a strong way of playing the game without laying 6 1/2 points or playing a stiff money line.
2) Parker's hamstring is held together with bailing wire, Ginobilli hasn't put two strong games together in ages and the Spurs come off a herculean effort in a must game.
3) Miami is playing for survival and is at home. In similar situations one of their role players has stepped up. Besides, Lebron James' credibility is on the line here.
4) Here's the math angle and why I love the play. Miami is -285 tonight on the ML. If they win, the game seven number is likely to be even higher. If the Heat win tonight, a portion of the bet can be hedged back by playing San Antonio to win in game seven at about +280. The opportunity to play a middle also exists by taking the Spurs plus the points in game seven.
5) The whole key to the bet is Miami winning straight up tonight. I strongly believe they will.
