Lost one of my ballplayers today. He got the call yesterday to try out for team USA. 13 players trying out and they keep 7. Good odds and it doesn't hurt that his college coach is also the 1st base coach for team USA and he also plays 3 infield positions and relief pitches. He was also nominated for the John Olerud award this year. Hope he makes it.
