Little bit of analysis on this one. KC hitting lefties at a .229 clip so far this year. They score under 3 runs per game against lefties and are 4-8 SU against lefties this year. Houston is Houston and hits .236 against right handed starters scoring 3.7 runs per game. Guthrie pitched against Houston twice last year going 14 innings and yielding 16 hits, 3 walks and 8 ERs. The better of his two outings came in Houston where he went 7 giving up 3 ERs on 3 hits with 3 BBs. Keuchel has not been bad this year in his two starts however the better start came at home vs Texas. Houston comes in after being in Pitt the last few days where they put up 6 runs in the 3 game set. KC comes in from Oakland where they scored 5 runs in getting swept in the 3 game set. KC is also in the beginning of a stretch where they play every day for 17 days. Guthrie has given up 11 home runs already this year, 4 in his last start. Houston has hit 24 home runs at home so far this year.
