Hit the big one with Michigan in the semis. Couple things I see happening in the championship game.
1) Louisville will not be as successful with their pressure. Michigan has the guards who can handle the ball and have already proven they can be successful against pressure.
2) Louisville will not be able to disappear for at least an entire half and come back to win this game.
3) Michigan and Louisville will hit their free throws although I do not foresee Louisville getting many opportunities.
4) McGary has played out of his mind and been successful against players deemed better than him at his position. I can see him keeping it up and getting Dieng in foul trouble like he was last game.
5) Trey Burke and Nick Stauskas will not play as poorly as they did last game.
6) Peyton Siva will be in foul trouble and the loss of Kevin Ware will be even more apparent with the lack of depth now coming into play.
7) If Louisville wins it will be because of Luke Hancock again.
8) Michigan will limit the penetration of Louisville and look to the Wichita St gameplay for how to beat Louisville.
That being said, I am a Michigan fan. I originally picked a Louiseville Michigan final with Louisville winning. I do have a 20-1 small future on Michigan. I will not hedge as I truly believe this Michigan team is one we will not see for another 20 years.
