  • Its Time !!!

Like it or not , college football is gone and it leaves with it the usual suspects and empty well . With only a few games left in the Pros , footballs a goner and whats left to fill the void ?

NHL , NBA ( Never Bet Against ) , and of course the NCAA b-ball games which nite-in and nite-out gives one a plethra of choices .

I have capped about 600 games this season already and got my early lessons in order , and now comes Conference time and we can toss all that rhymes or reasons out the window. And if you are not ready for the twi-lite zone your bookie will be known as Rod Sterling in the coming months . I further admit that the past few days put damper on my ability to predict outcomes after going 9-12-0 , then a heart-breaking 10-19-2 ( a real live spanking ) and my first of such this year. I hope you all got your ducks in a row cause your going to need them this year .

I would like to add that I for one think that in the #1 biz in NCAA football , if we could hook-up a LSU & USC match-up at the moment that Vegas would toss the Trojans out there as a fav. !

    mmm

it would be USC -5 ot 6 i think

but i agree with your earlier statement, conference time provides a much tpugher challenge than pre-conference

i have already used 2 games of the month and my game of the year b/c conference capping is so much harder

hopefully we will be up to the challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    good luck

      shorty3830 :

theres no doubt in my mind who would be favored and unless they played in the Superdome ( advantage LSU ) your guess is about on the money 3 to 6 USC favored .

      B-Ball tid-bits :

This is a break down up to the conference play of the most bet on teams to date , by most I mean the teams that had the most action on them and I will go further and break it down from the bottom up , this is ATS :

      245 to 200 :

      Furman 5-0
      Western Carolina 4-0
      Samford 4-1
      La. Lafayette 4-1
      Harvard 3-1
      Towson St. 3-1

No big faders in this bracket

      199 to 150 :

      San Jose St. 6-1
      G. Southern 4-1
      La. Tech 4-1
      Columbia 4-1
      Fla. St. 4-1

      Faders :

      S. Miss. 0-6
      Idaho St. 1-7
      Fla. International 1-7
      Weber St. 0-4
      Oklahoma 1-4 ( 0-4 as a home fav )
      N.D. 1-4-1

      149 TO 100

      W. Mich. 7-1
      Princeton 5-1
      Neb. 5-1
      Nevada 6-2
      Marquette 4-1
      Old Dom 5-2

      Faders :

      Loyola Chi. 1-6
      VCU 2-6
      Syracuse 2-5

      99 to 50 :

      Cinn. 6-0
      UTEP 6-1
      UCLA 6-1
      Fairfield 7-2
      New Mexico 6-2 ( 6 in a row ATS )
      Villanova 6-3
      Kent 6-2
      Toledo 6-3
      LSU 4-1

      Faders :

      Ari. St. 0-9
      Minn. 1-8
      TCU 1-7
      N. Mexico St. 1-5-1
      Iowa 3-5-1 ( lost 5 in a row )
      Depaul 4-6 ( lost 6 in a row )

      1 to 49 :

      Bradley 8-1
      Seton Hall 8-1 ( won 8 in a row )
      G. Tech 9-3
      Stanford 8-2
      BYU 7-2
      San Diego St. 8-3

THAT'S ENTIRELY TOO MANY PICKS. MOST PEOPLE DON'T HAVE BIG ENOUGH BANKROLLS TO BET 20 PLAYS IN AN EVENING AT THEIR NORMAL WAGER AMOUNT. ALSO, WON'T BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE LONG RUN BETTING 20+ PLAYS A NIGHT. ODDS WITH THE HOUSE THE MORE WAGERS MADE. RANK YOUR BEST 5 OR 6 AND BANG THEM HARD. WILL HAVE FINANCIAL ADVANTAGE AND EASIER TO CHART IF NOTHING ELSE.

                    Thank You Gents :

wallstreet , Homer . EZ , I hope to get back on track soon because I dont cotton to losing.

chris1sop , its hard for me to narror them down because my style of capping favors betting them all , but I will look a little harder and post what I think are the strongest three.

ROBB MACK , I play my games my way and have for a long time now , granted for the avg. Joe that is way to many . Am I supposed to ignore nights that go 30-15-1 or 44-14-1 or 11-4-1 and so on just because of your advise or your style ?

I dont think so , and I remember a night a few months ago when you stopped in and said you where going to fade my prayers and I went something like 16-4-2 (NBA/NHL/College/ combined ) So this is why they play them and believe me I am not here to give out plays because I will not be caught up in the razzle-dazzle that goes with it. I enjoy showing that I can indeed do just what you said I cant ( nothing more & and nothing less ) so sit back and watch and lets see if I have broke the funk I stepped in a few days ago

                    G.L.

ps - If a person could lay a 100.00 on every choice I have posted here , he would be floating a " 11,000.00 " bankroll right now at the present numbers ( 35,200 won , 22,000 lost , 2200 juice = 11,000 ) and this comes on the heels of my worst 2 days of the year so far ?

                      chris1sop :

Heed my warning , I have went 19-31-2 my last two days wagering on b-ball so proceed at your own risk .

                      My best 3 :

                      Hofstra - 2

                      La. Tech + 1

                      Detroit + 4

Late info pushes me large to Montana St + 3 ( 140 ) over

4 & 9 so far with a handful still out , I need to shake this funk soon or go down in flames ??? / back again looks like a surge and do I need it 5-1 with several left out there yet brings me to 9-10 so far / back again and like I ask poboy about that o/u 117 in the San Jose contest ( it was fishy ) well San Jose ****** but they score 116 ( bummer ) so that leaves me with a 1-1 to add ( 10-11) with three bets outstanding ( Nevada / over / Utah ) I have to say that this past week has left me with a new outlook on this years b-ball because as a general rule I dont switch over till the 2nd or 3rd week of Jan. , but the craps happening early this year so its reverse conference capping from here on out . Lets see if it gets me back on track ?

                      Good Nite All !!!!! 362-231-17 YTD/ ATS ( 3 to go ? )
