A guy names Billy Walters over the years has been great.I believe he is under the name Computer Boys. He is a specialist in totals. I have been playing his stuff when I see it. Nevada-1 over HAWAII: (3* selection)
We do still view Nevada as a sleeper team this season, and the 7-3 SU and 5-2 ATS Wolf Pack already owns an upset win over Kansas (75-61 as 6-point home dog on Dec.21st) and a 4-1 SU and ATS mark as a favorite on the year. Nevada is also on a 5-game SU win streak (3-0 ATS) coming into this late 9pm PT start in Honolulu, and 8-3 SU and 3-5 ATS Hawaii is coming off of a 69-58 loss to a banged up Fresno St. squad in their WAC opener. Hawaii lacks quickness and is not strong on the boards (-1.0 margin per game) this season, and those are strengths of Nevada including a +7.0 rebound margin per game so far. The Wolf Pack are also a deep team with 9 players averaging at least 15 minutes per game, and besides versatile leading scorer SF Snyder (16.4 ppg., 5 rpg., and 3.3 apg.) Nevada has 4 other players averaging between 8.4 and 10.6 ppg. Hawaii suffered a big blow in the offseason when OG C.English (20 ppg.) declared himself eligible for the NBA draft and wasn’t selected, while OG Kuebler is averaging 20 ppg. so far this season but does little else. Nevada is 4-1 ATS vs. winning teams this season and covered both games against a better Hawaii team last season (lost on road 73-71 as a 6-point dog), and we like the Wolf Pack to get a road win this time around for 3-units in a near pick’em contest.

Psychic sports has a 2* on the Celtics tonight.

This is a game that the Boston Celtics have looked forward to for a while. Last year at this time these two played at the Fleet Center, the Pistons came in and won by 52 points. Detroit was winning by 60 at one point in this game. It was the most lopsided embarassing lost for Boston in team history. The Pistons have been struggling against the number lately failing to cover in 9 of the last 11 games.
