Perhaps a better site for you to post your plays is over on gamblerstalk.com. Most of the folks lookimg at the service threads over here have learned through many years of experience that cockiness isn't necessarily a good trait in a sports bettor. In any event, congrats on your TN winner. The loss on the total really sucked for you I know. If you stay out here long enough your "kmowing your going to win" will become "in my opinion.......". GL the rest of the way.

    • Season Record: 17-5 +12.5 UNITS

      Added Looks: 22-19
Halftime Plays: 7-8 (Halftime Service will resume Saturday)

      Two plays for Saturday:

Iowa State (+3.5) at San Diego State - 7:00pm Pacific - Game 635-636
I was never a big fan of coach Wayne Morgan during his years at Long Beach State but I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for time being, especially in non-conference play. This Iowa State team has really surprised me with their talent level. Despite the loss of head coach Eustachy and eligibility of senior point guard Tim Barnes, this team has looked much better than last years version. After starting the season 7-0, the Cyclones were just a play or two away from getting a quality road win at Virginia in last game. They led by 7 points with under 7:00 to play in the second half but committed 6 turnovers in the final six minutes to set the table for a 19-4 Virginia run. The Cavs may have benefited from some home cooking as they had 23 free throw attempts compared to just 5 for Iowa State. The Cyclones shot 55% for the game and dominated Virginia 40-23 on the boards.

Even without Barnes, Iowa State returned a solid nucleus of three upperclassmen starters. Senior guard Jake Sullivan (12.8ppg despite early season slump, 1429 career points) is an experienced and proven scorer. 6-10 senior power forward Jackson Vroman (13.7ppg, 8.9rpg) is in his second full season in Division 1 basketball and has been a force inside. Junior center Jared Homan (13.5ppg, 6.3rpg) has almost doubled his scoring average from last season and ranks among the nations leaders in blocked shots with 3.75 per game. As solid as these three guys are, the teams early success can be attributed mostly to the stellar play of freshman guards Curtis Stinson and Will Blalock. Point guard Stinson (13.4ppg, 7.5rpg, 4.6apg, 2.0spg) earned Big 12 rookie of the week honors last week after 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists in win vs Xavier. He looks like a natural leader and has the physical strength of a senior. Backcourt mate Blalock does not have quite as impressive numbers but is shooting a solid .468 from the field, .467 from behind the arc, and .905 from the free throw line while averaging 8.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.25apg, and 1.8spg. These two freshman can play. Senior sixth man Marcus Jefferson (8.8ppg) is a solid experienced option off the bench. Second team JC all-American forward Damion Staple adds depth inside.

The Aztecs come in with a 8-5 record on the season. They looked like world beaters after their blowout win over Ohio State in Maui but seeing how bad the Buckeyes have been playing that win was not much. SDSU's other 7 wins came over Long Beach State, Chaminade, San Diego, UC San Diego, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, and Portland U. They have home losses to both Troy State and Washington. Following the Washington loss two games back, head coach Steve Fisher shook up the lineup, benching freshman leading scorer Brandon Heath and two other starters. The result was a struggling 6 point win over Portland in which the outcome was decided by a 44-27 Aztec rebound edge that included 20 offensive rebounds. Leading scorer Heath (17.3ppg) ended up going 0-for-6 in a season low 25 minutes. He is said to have been a defensive liability in recent games. Fisher said after the game he was not sure which lineup he would use for next game. The Aztecs were beaten on the boards by Washington 36-25 two games ago and figure to be punished again inside by a much bigger and more physical Iowa State frontline.

This is definitely a game the Cyclones can win outright. Hopefully they will have learned from their experience at Virginia and play well tonight off their first loss of the season. Iowa State is 2nd in the Big 12 shooting 49.9% from the field and 1st in the Big 12 allowing opponents to shoot just 36.6%. They have outshot all 8 of their opponents this season. The Cyclones also lead the Big 12 with 6.4 blocks per game. SDSU meanwhile has allowed opponents to shoot 44.1% while only shooting 43.7% themselves. Freshman Stinson is a special player. With defenses giving him more attention it will start to open things up for Sullivan and company. Sullivan is sure to be looking forward to matchup with Aztec guard Wesley Stokes. Two years ago while with Mizzou, Stokes inadvertently poked Sullivan in the eye causing a concussion and eventual eye socket surgery. Expect an outright win for the Cyclones.

      UCSB (-11) at Long Beach State - 7:30pm Pacific - Game 637-638
It is hard not to like this UCSB team. They are very well coached, play solid defense, and for Big West standards are loaded with talent. Four senior starters are back from last season but an impressive influx of new talent has taken this team to another level. The teams top two returning scorers from last season, conference player of the year Branduinn Fullove (ankle, missed first 5 games) and athletic guard Nick Jones (suspension, missed first 8 games) have missed most of the season but the team is still 6-3 with all three losses coming in neutral court tournament games, one vs Kansas. They own two "true" road wins at Hawaii and at UCLA.

The team has not seen action since win over Alabama State 12 days ago in Nevada tournament. That game marked the first action of the season for Jones (12 points in 22 minutes) and it is said to be the first time that Fullove (season high 23 points) has looked himself this season. Good looking sophomore guard Cecil Brown (9.5ppg) was somewhat of a goto player with the absence of Jones and Fullove. He sat out last game to rest a nagging ankle injury suffered vs UCLA. With the added time off he will be ready to go. Junior guard Joe See is an experienced transfer from Oregon State and along with returning starter senior point guard Jacoby Atako gives the Gachos a loaded backcourt. Junior power forward Casey Cook bulked up noticeably in the offseason and has been a much bigger factor inside this season. He earned conference player of the week honors after a big game vs UCLA. Sophomore small forward Josh Davis (7.1ppg) is another player who has improved tremendously. JC transfer Cameron Goettsche (7.1ppg, 5.4rpg) has stepped in and finally given the team a true center.

Long Beach has two wins on the season, a win over Cal State Stanislaus and a win over LMU. I attended the LMU win and I can tell you it was not much. The Lions were coming off a draining home loss to Virginia and lacked intensity from the outset. They also played without their starting center and leading rebounder which ended up being a major factor as the 49ers grabbed 22 offensive boards in the 3 point win. Long Beach lost their next game by 22 at Sacramento State and lost at home to Colgate on Tuesday. Long Beach has lost to Minnesota by 30, San Diego State by 30, and Pepperdine by 14. Those are the only three opponents they have faced who are comparable to UCSB. The 49ers average 17.3 turnovers per game, have no legitimate consistent scoring threats, and their interior defense leaves a lot to be desired.

UCSB is clearly the superior team by far. The Gauchos extremely deep bench should ensure a lopsided score. This will be UCSB's first game with a full squad all season and they should be eager to play following 12 day lay off. They will be all business in their Big West conference opener and will be seeking to make amends for a 1 point loss at the Pyramid last season. That game was in midseason following a win at Irvine two nights before. This time they play Long Beach first. UCSB beat Long Beach later in the season by 24 in Santa Barbara. Expect a similar result tonight.

      *Added Looks for Saturday:

      Xavier -4 over Alabama - Game 561-562
Bama's big win over Wisconsin is a bit misleading. The Badgers were already without starting forward Alando Tucker (second on team in scoring) who had a big part in the teams recent success. They then lost stalwart Mike Wilkinson (third leading scorer, leading rebounder) to early foul trouble. Wilkinson ended up playing only 17 minutes and scored just 2 points. The Tide hit some lucky threes as well to extend their lead in the final stages. The going will be much more difficult at the Cintas Center which is always a very difficult place to play for opponents. This is the first home game of the season that XU can really get up for. They will also be seeking revenge for 7 point loss in Tuscaloosa last season. XU has shown improvement in two easy home wins since road loss at Iowa State.

      CSUN +3 over Fullerton - Game 631-632
The Matadors were already a decent team but got a huge boost when JC transfer Eto Onyenegecha became eligible two games back. He is an immediate impact player averaging 19.5ppg in just 27 minutes per game of action. He could have played for a number of Pac-10 schools and could be a key to the success of CSUN basketball. The Matadors now have 5 players averaging in double figures plus senior Ian Boylan (teams leading returning scorer) at 9.9ppg. JC transfer point guard Davin White is solid. I watched this team play at USC. They made mistakes and fell behind early but made a comeback and could have won had they made some key free throws late in the game. Fullerton is coming off a home loss to LMU and has only won 3 of 5 home games. I don't know much about CSF but CSUN has a good chance of being a hot team right now worth following.

              • For the record several weeks ago I emailed Mr. Cannon inquriing about his alleged 30-0 system which lost making it 30-2, and stating that the odds of that were virtually nil.
As you might expect there was no response.
As stated before, I find the multimillion rating system he and his crew use very laughable.
Even more laughable was that Cannon has a 20 million star play on Michigan State, but another member of that crew(I think it was Rob House) had a 100 million star rating on Nebraska.
Just the service you want to use-one capper with a 20 million star and another member with a 100 million star on the opposite side.
