The thing that must stick in the minds of the public in this matchup is the overall poor showing by Texas in the Maui Invitational (including a loss to host Chaminade). I'll admit this pick feels so wrong to me but like a buddy of mine says: "In order to do some right, you gotta do some wrong, playa!"

I remember seeing this trend last year and I see it happening this year again: teams from BCS conferences rarely cover against in-state opponents from non-BCS conferences. I just missed SE Missouri State +17 against Missouri. But this game is still on the board. I feel confident taking the Broncos and 21 points. Let's se where SE Missouri State is at the half.
