Posting it now cause I played it now, Notre Dame +9' over Bama. (3 unit play)

I may be all wrong but I see this as a 3 point game either way. These two teams are evenly matched from a statistical standpoint. Total offense Bama is ranked 40th gaining 439 yards a game, N.D. is 49th with 421 yards/game. Total defense, Bama is #1 giving up an average of 246 yards a game, N.D. is ranked 6th giving up 286 yards per game. The kicker is strength of schedule (SOS). I know everyone thinks Bama had the tougher schedule but N.D.'s SOS was #8 while Bama's SOS was 15th. The books know a hell of a lot more than me but no way do I cap this game as Bama being a 9' point favorite, even if they were playing in Tuscaloosa. On a neutral field Bama should be -3 at most, at least IMO. Bol to all this bowl season.

i am with you guys as well. this ND team has something special going on. Kelly will prepare just as well as Saban. No he is not in Saban's class, but this is a step in the right direction for him. ND has the leadership to keep the team focused on the goal at hand. hope the line goes up, but will take it at +7. GO IRISH

You are right Dimer. That's why N.D.'s strength of schedule is better than Bama's. SEC only had about 4-5 very good teams this year
