Tony-one quick word.I agree, but a real good capper would mix and match a little better-go with public on a play or two and against on some others if he really wants to try to sweep 4 or 5 plays.
You are def. right about that but why try when you know you can be right probably 80% of time. I had Michigan last night until I hear locally there was not one bet on USC. I admit that Root is a crook but you can not go against his logic!! That is why tonite I am off Ohio State and going with Kansas St.
The only point Tony is that even if Root's picks weren't listed here for nothing, I would not purchase them;why bother-all I have to do is go against the public.
I would rather have a capper who combines his own capping skills and knows more often than not when to go against the public and when not to.
You are right Savage. Contrarian betting is at least 10 years past its prime. Root is a Marketing guru who sprinkles in a few facts, buys elevator shoes, Armani suits, and laughs all the way to the bank.
Is Root still on those Saturday shows?
I stopped watching them a few years ago, as Root had this irritating and distracting habit of wildly flailing his hands to try to make a point, almost like a paraplegic;whoever taught him public speaking in college didn't do a very good job.
