I see alot of Mich. St. money....It looks to me that Neb. (size on the line) should be able to run all over Mich St. and Neb. defense should handle Smoker and Co. Any thought to change my mind? jc

NU Notes: Flu bug has bitten Spartans

SAN ANTONIO - This is one situation where Michigan State Coach John L. Smith has to believe that sharing isn't a good thing.

The flu is going through the MSU football team, and Smith is sure some players are going to be affected by it when the Spartans play Nebraska tonight in the Alamo Bowl.

"It's taken its toll," Smith said Sunday. "It's three or four guys new each day, and they keep passing it around."

After rattling off a list of players bitten by the bug, Smith said: "Everybody's going to have it sooner or later."
