Correia shelled by Twins: Pittsburgh starter Kevin Correia didn't put his best foot forward in his quest for a rotation spot on Saturday in a Grapefruit League start against the Twins. Correia allowed 10 earned runs on 12 hits and no walks over just 2 1/3 innings before being yanked from the game. Correia gave up a home run to Ryan Doumit in the third but by then most of the damage was done. Correia took the loss to fall to 1-1 on the spring and his ERA rose to 7.71. Correia did not strike out a batter.

Kershaw is still not fully recovered from food poison as well.
