I don't post much in the way of games, mainly because I don't wish to feel responsible for anyone else following my suggestion and losing their hard earned money. But I really like this game and I feel it's worthy of posting.
830 Creighton +2 -120
Why:
Good Free throw shooting team plus they have gotten 100 more attempts than Bama
Great 3 point shooting team, actually one of the best in the country. These cats can flat fill it up, they also lead the nation in FG %.
Assist to turnover margins is thru the roof compared to Bama.
They hold a significant rebounding margin over Bama
They have a superstar in McDermotte, senior point guard and 1st team MVC defensive player of the year.
Better RPI & Sagrin rating
10 days rest and preparation
3-1 versus top 50 teams while Bama faced more top 50 teams they only went 3-6. I will take 75% versus 33%
In what appears to be a coin flip matchup, I will always pound a team who has SIGNIFICANT advantages in 3 pointers, Rebounding, assist to turnover ratio, and Free throws.
Bama has a very good defense and will try and dictate a slow tempo, but I have seen this Bluejay team win half court games when they need too.
Bluejays move on to give Carolina a scare in the next round!!
