On December 25, our selection is on the Houston Cougars + over Hawaii. The Cougars routed UAB 56-28 in their last game, and Bowl teams have covered 73% (11-4 ATS) since 1980 if they scored 50+ points and won their last game, covered by at least 10 points, and are matched up against a foe off a loss. Hawaii lost to Boise in its last game, and Bowl favorites of -7.5 or more are 8-23 ATS (25%) if they're off a SU loss, including 1-7 ATS (12%) if their opponent scored at least 38 in its previous game.
