  • NFL Super Bowl Futures Play

    NFL YTD 28-27 +0.25 units
    4* GOY1-0 +4.0 units
    3* 2-2 -0.6 units
    2* 6-6 -1.2 units
    1* 19-19 -1.9 units
    NFL/CFB Combined 50-56 -4.15 units
    4* GOY 3-0 +12.0 units
    3* 3-3 -0.9 units
    2* 9-9 -1.8 units
    1* 35-44 -13.45 units

I hit my 3* play Saturday on the Patriots and have somehow gotten myself back into the black in the NFL after a very poor start but very strong finish.

3* Patriots To Win Super Bowl +185
    1) New England has been my pick all along to win the Super Bowl and the case is stronger than ever right now.
    2) The Saints' loss eliminates their strongest opponent, in my opinion.
    3) Value is there as the Pats will be a clear favorite next week (huge if Hous wins) and will be favored in the Super Bowl if GB gets knocked off either of the next two weeks.
    4) New Eng would be a strong play for me in the Super Bowl against any of the remaining NFC teams.
    5) Line was obtained when bet by me today at bookmaker, a site sponsor here.

Had previously taking the ravens and feeling bad about it right now as the texans are making more plays then I thought.....that complement at tight end is damaging for the pats (as hard as it is to say, lol ).....gl

I'm not a Pats fan, but I think I agree with you....my gut tells me that they are pissed from a run of bad postseasons and they are all business this time around.

About a month or so ago, I had my doubts about the Pats, but they are peaking and feel they won't have much trouble with either Baltimore or Houston-just too much offense and a much better quarterback than either of those teams.
I would actually like a rematch against the Giants although that will take some doing.

I wrote New Eng would be favored IF GB gets knocked off. I agree GB would be favored. However, they'd be a small fave. Insterestingly, bookmaker's odds had GB only a slight Super Bowl fave (+160) vs. New Eng at +185

New eng is down to +115 at bookmaker thanks to gb's loss.

I'm in pretty good shape right now! This play could make my season and I'm looking at a big score. Everything has broken perfectly on this bet, including cundiff's kick

                          Super Bowl Update

I have an opportunity to hedge here to guarantee a profit (bet NYG plus to give a chance to score both bets) but like New England so much there'll be no hedge.

If I didn't havee the futures play I'd play New England minus points for at least two stars.

Everybody likes the Giants but Belichick with two weeks to prepare is usually deadly. As bad as The Pats' D is, I think they'll work out an effective game plan.

The one worry is Gronkowski. He's the second best player on New England's team and a true difference maker. If he's healthy, I enter with total confidece.

                          Prediction: Pats by 13.

This is a potential huge score for me (I bet what I post). GL to all.
