Hey guys! Happy New Year! Hope you all did well this past weekend... I have a 3-1 posted bowl record this year. I was just really busy this holiday season with family and friends and increased responsibilites at work. Getting on here to post everyday just isn't realistic for me anymore. Anyway, here we go...
NCAAF
20* - [270] Louisiana State Fighting Tigers +2 1/2
5* - [269] Alabama/ Louisiana State o40 1/2
Look, guys, I really don't think it's that difficult of a decision. LSU has a decided advantage on special teams. Alabama didn't go out and get a new kicker overnight. This will wear on Saban's mind as he has to make decisions about whether to go for it or attempt the field goal in crucial situations in the game. LSU also boasts an absolute stud in Jordan Jefferson. He is a dual threat quarterback. That's a whole 'nother dimension that the Tide have to worry about. LSU has three to four capable runningbacks. Late in games, they are just fresher at that position as they slam into dog-tired, defeated defenses. And everyone's talking about Saban. What about Les Miles? He's a great motivator and solid with the X's and O's. Speaking of X's and O's, you will see at least a couple of trick plays from LSU. You can bet on that! Lastly, I think LSU has a better ability to comeback from a deficit than Alabama. This one gets ugly: 31-14 LSU.
Best of Luck!
