What defensive stats are you referring to regarding VT. The stats I have seen make the Michigan and VT defenses about even.

Total defense: Mich is 17th and VT is 13th
Scoring defense: Mich. is 7th and VT 8th
Run defense: Mich. 34th and VT 17th
Passing defense: Michigan 17th and VT 39th
Turnover Margin Michigan is 25th and VT is 29th.

Just curious as to why you think VT has the defensive edge. BTW good luck.
