Ok guys here is the deal

the atlanta falcons are favored over tampa bay by 12 and are -650 ml favorites.

The falcons are in the playoffs and can not change thier playoff seeding unless green bay beats detroit.green bay will not be playing anyone because why would they risk playing anyone when they have no reason too.they have already locked up home field throughout the playoffs.detroit is listed as -3.5 favorites so at least the oddsmakers think that detroit is going to win.green bay detroit play at 1:00 est and the falcons play at 4:15 so they will know by kickoff if they need to play or not

now if detroit loses than yes the falcons need to win to avoid playing san fran or new orleans in the first round so yes they will beat tampa.

I see detroit beating green bay and this line dropping to probably atlanta -3 and maybe we can all get lucky and have a 9 point middle opportunity or we can just unload on tampa +550 right now and if it looks like detroit is going to lose then play the falcons ml for 5 units and you break even.

If Detroit beats greenbay at 1:00 or if they are winning big at halftime this game will be off the board or maybe Atlanta -3.5

The meaning of this thread has nothing to do with how good or bad of a team that Tampa Bay is.The point I am trying to make is that if Detroit beats greenbay Atlanta will be in the same matchup in the playoffs regardless of the outcome.Why would Matt Ryan,Roddy White,Julio Jones,Michael Turner or any other starter play more than a half.It makes no sense to play those guys when winning this game means nothing to Atlanta.

Well guys its Halfway through the first quarter and it looks like I was right.Detroit is winning 9-0 and they just took the Atlanta Falcons Tampa Bay game off of the board.How could Vegas have made this bad of a mistake.Maybe it was the plan all along for Atlanta to cover the 12 even with not playing its starters I don't know but if they do put a line up for this game we will get a hell of a middle opportunity.

Yeah Green Bay came back from being down 9-0 game aS off the board now back on.I don't know whats going on because it keeps going off the board then coming back as +9.5..I still think Detroit has a shot at still winning and still think this line will go down.Then we will get our good middle oportunity .


I am seeing -9.5 in the NFL 10 is a give number so not sure if I should try and middle it now or wait to see if it drops more.
