49ers ML -150 over the Steelers. Love the 9ers in this spot for several reasons. First off Big Ben (BB) is going to be very limited with his sprained ankle. What makes him so good is his ability to extend the play until someone gets open. I think with his ankle injury he is gonna be a stationary target. The 49ers run defense is the best in the league so Pitt. is gonna have a difficult time running the ball, making Pitt one dimensional with an injured QB. Besides BB the Steelers are gonna miss Pouncey their starting center. He is perhaps the best center in the NFL so his absence may have a bigger impact than most. Harrison is suspended for the game and Woodley is coming off a ham string injury so who knows how effective he will be. 49ers need this game as much if not more so than Pitt. since they are tied with the Saints for the number 2 seed and a first round bye. Besides S.F was embarassed on Thanksgiving night by the Ravens. I am sure this team is going to be extra motivated to show a national audience that they are not as bas as they looked that night.

Something to support the 9ers play. Home favorites with a turnover margin of at least +1 per game on average, playing after a game where they forced a least 3 turnovers are 34-2 since 2004 and 5-0 this year.

Pitt being motivated to win doesn't mean they will win, just ask Baltimore, Jets, Giants, and Texans. Pitt hasn't been an offensive juggernaut all year barely beating Cleveland last week and Kansas City a few weeks ago. BTW Pitt gets the number 1 seed if they win out, not the 2 seed.

DET, Saints, NE, PITT... I mean I cant watch that Ravens game yesterday and think they are good(contenders for a SB ring). Even my good friend that a 9ers fan knows its been all smoke and mirrors not a real threat for ring.
