With two games left in the regular season, TCU stood 10-0 SU and primed for a BCS bid. Unfortunately, the Horned Frogs dropped a road game at Southern Miss and now find themselves playing at home priced as a double-digit dog in the Forth Worth Bowl! Wow, talking about the worst-case scenario! (Of course, the real reason why TCU decided to play in this bowl and not the GMAC Bowl was because of a conflict with final exams.) Knocking off Boise State won't be an easy task. The Broncos are a sensational 12-1 SU (7-5 ATS) this season and have won 10 straight. BSU's only lost this year was a narrow two-point decision at Oregon State. Let's take a look inside the numbers. At home, the Horned Frogs have been solid posting a 25-2 SU and 17-9 ATS mark. With rest in that role, TCU stands tall at a perfect 6-0 ATS. Not to be outdone, Boise State is a magnificent 31-3 SU and 25-7 ATS coming off a SU and ATS win. Even though bowl home dogs are a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS since 1998, I just don't feel comfortable fading this high-octane Boise State offense. If you must play this bowl game, consider taking the under.
