Ravens -3 over 49ers (bought half point)

Always reluctant to post Ravens' plays because it comes across as a homer play but I really like the Ravens in this spot for several reasons. S.F. has to fly cross country on a short work week which makes this a difficult spot for them. Second I am still not thoroughly convinced that the 9ers are that good. 6 of their 9 wins have come against teams with a losing record. Ravens play really tough at home having won 14 of their last 15 home games. Since 2003 the Ravens are 16-1against NFC teams at home and most haven't really been close:

2004 Ravens beat Dallas 30-10 and Giants 37-14
2005 Ravens beat GB 48-3 and the Vikings 30-23
2006 Ravens beat Atlanta 24-10 but lose to Carolina 23-21

Weather is supposed to be perfect. Sunny on Thursday light winds temp 55 degrees. Thursday night clear, light winds, temps in the mid 40s. Weather will not be a factor.
