Week 10 NFL Plays + a neat stat...

Hey guys! 4-3 outing yesterday... Ducks smashed! What a great team that is! Wow! Okay, first things first: the neat stat...

Teams coming off a bye in last two weeks are 8-4 ATS whereas teams that had their break in Weeks 5 or 6 were 4-7-1 ATS. Having later byes seems to be statistically more beneficial to teams because since 2002, teams with byes on Week 9 and afterwards are 37-20-3 ATS.

The teams that had byes last week were Carolina, Detroit, Minnesota and Jcksonville...

I'm a Lions fan through and through but I really like the Bears here. Short week, yes. Playing a team off a bye week, yes. However, they are protecting Cutler a lot better now. And how do you neutralize a great pass rush that the Lions possess? You run the ball. The Bears excel at that. Good Luck!

Grinding it out today... 2-3 in the NFL for +2.20 units and 1-0 in the NHL for +4.00 units... Bob Christ is 6-8 with the Jets -1 1/2 and Vikings +13 1/2 left to go... My teams coming off a bye week stat are 1-2 on the day with Minnesota left this week. No byes this week so we will revisit this in Week 12 when Indianapolis, Houton, Pittsburgh and New Orleans come off their respective byes...
