Game Seven

What can I say about Game 6 but wow! I still think the Kirk Gibson World Series homer game was the best but I think game 6 was a close 2nd. Here is my game 7 selection as I think I am the only person in the world on Texas.

Texas 125..........4 star

Here is why:

1- The Rangers have not lost back to back games since August 25th.

2- The Rangers are 79-47 against righties.

3- The Cards are 22-24 against lefties.

4- Since 2008, short rested starters posted a 5.79 era.

5- Harrison is 6-4 with an ERA under 3 on the road this season.

Those are the stats.

I think the assumption is the Cards have their ace, the mojo and Texas is depleted after a shocking loss.

I think Texas is in better shape pitching wise than the Cards tonight. Tough spot for Carpenter on short rest and facing the Rangers for a 3rd time in this series.

Texas can hit, the question is can they shut down the Cards. Other than the game 6 explosion, they have not hit all that well. Look at how many balls did not even leave the infield last night.

Destiny could be for the Cards but I think that Texas is the best team in baseball and prove so tonight.
