I went 2-2 last weekend in CFB, which, as you can see from above, was actually an improvement on the year. Three this week. All, by coincidence, from the Big 10.
1* Purdue +4
Purdue has played better than its record would indicate and could have beaten Penn State last week. Illinois, after a home upset loss to Ohio State, has to travel and may be flat.
1* Northwestern +4 1/2
Penn State's offense has really struggled. Northwestern scores a lot pointrs when Persa is at QB. Another live home dog.
1* Michigan State +7 1/2
My final Big 10 home dog is the big one. Wisconsin may have the best offense in the country but they haven't played ANYBODY (Nebtraska isn't that good). Mich State has a tremendous defense that has been tested against two of the country's best offenses (Notre Dame and Michigan). True, Gholston is out for MSU but Wisconsin is likely without its best defensive lineman (Butrym). This is a lot of points for a home dog with a great D.
