Ok guys here is the story. I have been sport betting for 20 plus years, and I have picked many more winners than losers. Now, that doesn’t mean that I have made more than I have lost, because my money management was dreadful. I have had days when I was 6-2 and lost money, but I can also remember Saturdays when I was 24-3 betting $500 a game plus all the parlays and reverses that I hit that day. I don’t have any magic formula that guarantees 70% winners, but I do select games with logic and knowledge that I have developed over time. I will win many more games than I lose, and from today we will start to document. In addition to that, I also played all of the sports. So when I watch a game I see things that these so called “experts” don’t see. I don’t rate my plays with stars or units. If I like a game I play it, if I don’t like it, then I don’t play it. It is as simple as that. I recently saw on one of the expert’s sites the advantage of playing various amounts according to corresponding stars. His example said that he could go 4-4 on the day, but if would played them according to the units you could have won all of this money. He doesn’t mention the outcome if you lose the higher units and win the smaller units. Why would you recommend a pick that you like, but you don’t love? I like this one more than that one; it doesn’t make any sense to me.
So tonight I am going to start to share my knowledge with all of you in hopes of making us all some money. When I select a game, I will tell you why. I won’t write a book about it, but you will know why we have it. I have philosophies that I live by, and I don’t wager on certain teams or coaches, and I will explain as we go along. For example, I will never wager on an Over in a game in which Derek Dooley is the coach. If any of you noticed last week, Tennessee was ahead 31-7 with one minute to go before the half. They were on their own 43 with 2nd and 1, and just over a minute to go in the half. Rather than play for a field goal or maybe a touchdown, he chose to run the play clock down to zero and hand the ball off. I have seen him do the same thing at La Tech through the years. If his team is down 17, with 4 minutes to go, and the other team has the ball, but he has 3 time outs, don’t count on him using any of them, because he is not. What if your getting 16 there? One last example is Oklahoma. Last week versus Ball St., Landry Jones threw a 56 yd. td pass in the 3rd quarter, making the score 52-6. With less than 4 minutes to go in the game, up 62-3, Drew Allen, the backup qb, attempted back to back passes with less than 4 minutes to go in the game. Do you think Stoops looks at the scoreboard? Well that’s enough for now, because I can talk at length about every team and coach, but hopefully we can make this fun and profitable for everyone, and learn from all of my experience. Good Luck.
Play tonight MLB:
Cardinals and over 7.5
Brewers and over 8.5
Best Of luck to all!!
