Still looking for my first CFB win. Time to get it together. Have lots of ideas but will use only my best plays. The rest will be listed as "opinions."
1* East Carolina -14
UAB just got crushed at home by Tulane (yes, Tulane). Callaway may be the first coach fired. EC, on the other hand, played two outstanding teams in Virginia Tech and South Carolina very close. EC is running the old Texas Tech offense but the real story is the improvement of their defense. While all plays are 1* this week, this one is my favorite.
1* Kansas State +13
K-State has a very good defense and Miami may let down after last week's Ohio State game.
1* California/Washington OVER 58 1/2
Washginton is averaging 45 points a game and even put up 38 on Nebraska. But they have no defense. Cal allowed Fresno State to score 31.
1* Notre Dame -7
I admit I'm scared by ND's so-so defense but the offense is really hitting since the QB switch. Pitt's defense fell apart late last week against Iowa.
