GMAC BOWL WARNING
Those of you thinking of betting the GMAC Bowl tonight, should be warned that Louisville has a major flu problem. It is not a strain that can easily be ignored by taking a cold pill. It is knocking players for a loop, and taking a week or more or to go away.

College coaches are renowned morons ( alomost as dumb as NFL coaches ) and Bobby Petrino for Louisville is no exception. Heaven forfend that the sick players should miss practice. Oh no! Missing practice with a mere flu would be wimpy. So we make them go to practice, where they infect the entire remainder of the team. Coach Petrino probably missed the one day when they discussed the germ theory of colds in required Hygiene for his college Phys. Ed. major.

Anyway, Petrino's got the Louisville players afraid to admit they are sick, and more players than you might imagine may be significantly less than 100% for tonight's game. There could be a bit of puking (that's puking NOT pucking) on the sidelines before the game is over. I hear ESPN is hiring Lisa Guerrero to do commentary for the occasion. She should be in her glory.

Conclusion, until it is known exactly who will be up to par and who won't, and how the players who are sick will play, the game is a big question mark. If you get halftime lines, you will better off waiting to the half to play. If you don't get halftime lines, watch the Rangers/Islanders, or take the significant other to see the new Lord of the Rings flick (better than watching the Rangers/Islanders).
