  • Something You Should Know If You Are Going to Play the Atl/Philly Game

I was in the hospital and then rehab for a total of 11 weeks after having my shoulder replaced a second time after the first one wore out. The surgeon cracked the bone while taking out the worn out shoulder which meant I could not even start rehab until the crack healed. So now you know I wasn't just hiding although I don't always check the forums.

    Anyway, check this out.

Vance Worley is 10-1 with an 2.85 ERA. At home he is 5-0 with a 1.96 ERA. This is the good part. Did you know ---

The Phillies have won 12 consecutive Worley starts, which is the best stretch since winning 15 consecutive Steve Carlton starts in 1972. It's also the longest streak for a big league rookie since the 1980s.

He is going against Atlanta with Hudson which is probally why the line is only -119 but unless you like to play against streaks,

PLAY PHILLY and of course box Worley. Good Luck.

The Game Could Be A Rainout

If the game is rained out, then play it tomorrow if worley is still starting.

Don't forget 9/11. it's also an important date for another reason. Assuming the weather is OK, that's the date of Worleys next start and you now know what that means. Even at Milwaukee. Hope some of you followed tonight.

Sandy, glad to see you are feeling better. You sure had a few rough years my friend.

            Best to you as always.
