Hey guys! I'm going to pass on the early games. I like Northwestern but they have health issues at quarterback so I'm not committing any money to them...

I'll kick Saturday off betting against a team who I think will actually be a great ATS team in 2011. Air Force, with a senior-laden team, should make a legit run at the MW crown. I love their senior quarterback Jefferson and their turnover margin has been exceptional over the past 4 seasons. The problem is that they were 2-7 in 2010 as favorites and they are giving 34 in the season opener to a team that should not garner all that much attention from them. A classy Falcons squad will win, but not by 5 touchdowns...

My second selection today is on another team that I think will have a great season ATS: the Broncos of Western Michigan.

Why?

They will be a better defensive team (returning 8 starters) and they also have the best kicker-punter combination in their conference.

Now how could I talk returning starters and bet against a team returning 18 of them?

Simple. I believe that will be negated by an entirely new system that is trying to be installed by Hoke and his new coaching staff. Denard will be asked to hand off the ball and drop back. Yikes! I'll take the pair of TDs...

South Dakota came easy. This WMU game is a bit of a fluke. The defense probably won't score that many points for the rest of the season. Got a couple more plays here so let's get to it:

Hawaii has a great defense. Colorado is starting a new quarterback. Hawaii is missing a lot of pieces from the offense of last year. Ugly, low scoring affair expected. Hell, give the touchdown too if you're feeling bold. Best of Luck!

A couple of really questionable calls at the end of the UH game but we managed to go 4-0 today!!! I'll have some more goodness to come. I'm very depressed my Ducks lost but the last time we lost the first game of the season, we ended up in the Rose Bowl. Ah that is the life! See ya tomorrow! Aloha!
