with all the distractions going on at Nebraska I think the team was getting unfocused. But now I think they kinda regrouped and will get very focused now. I am leaning towards Nebraska now.

I am leaning toward Neb as well. The line looks a little strange for a team that has lost its head coach, a team with a terrible offense, and playing a team with a "great run defense". The news I get is that the players want Pellini? to stay on as HC so what better way to show that than to win the game. Plus I think that the D for St isn't quite as good as their touted. I know they held Minn down in rushing but that was because Minn was down and had to throw the ball to try to get back in the game. I believe that Neb will run effectively and then burn them deep to the TE off of play-action. I am going to wait to see what happens to this line tomorrow before I put a play in but as of right now I think the Huskers get the job done.

I'm from Nebraska and the turmoil over last years terrible season, this year's average season and the coaching controversy has taken its toll. Although Nebraska's W-L record this year looks good, a look at how they played against the good teams on their schedule is revealing. Missouri, Kansas State and Texas absolutely riddled the proud "Black Shirt" defense for over 400 yards and 30 + pts per game. So their high national defensive rankings have to be taken with a grain of salt. There was much talk about several players boycotting tonight's game although that apparently isn't going to happen. The prevailing thinking in regards to Pellini is that if he was the guy, he would have already been hired. Most people think the AD wants a "trophy" coach and is holding out for Butch Davis, Steve Spurrier, or Bill Cowher.

So the big question is does upheaval and uncertainty create unity or does it divide? I think it divides. My vote goes to Michigan State.
