  • Friday MLB Play

Orioles +185 over the Yankees. Before you think I am crazy or this is a homer play, which it isn't let me explain my logic. Jeremy Gutherie is pitching for the Orioles tonight. Even though he has double digit losses, he hasn't pitched badly this year. His name has been mentioned quite often the last few weeks as a possible trade candidate with one of the contenders (Detroit, Cleveland St. Louis and a few others). This is his last start before the trade deadline on Sunday. The guy has been losing with the Orioles for the last 4 years. You know he wants out and go to a contender. He has to know that if he goes out and gets lit up the trade partners will disappear. If on the other hand he pitches lights out, which he does on occasion, someone will probably pull the trigger on a trade for him. Besides A.J Burnett isn't exactly a Cy Young candidate this year. BOL if you follow this convoluted logic

      Love it Raven

I took KC yesterday +255 versus the Redsox and Beckett, this looks solid.

I originally thought about taking the O's because against Burnett thats a good price. After thinking about it and as it gets closer to gametime here is the problem, in the NY area there r thunderstorms everywhere and a possible hurricane watch so for me I cant think that this game is not going to have some kind of rain delay and I cant trust this Baltimore pen to hold the Yanks down for the win. So I will pass and c what happens

What happened was they waited long enough for the storms to pass and the other one I thought was coming missed them.Other than that Guthrie is still pitching better than i thought he would and Burnett still looks like a superstar at times and someone that doesnt know how to get people out at others.

I still am worried because Guthrie was in the 70 + pitch range thru 5 so the bullpen will still have to be in by the 7th at some point.

o well im a sore non winner so good luck to u guys that took the O's

Parlayed Baltimore with the under for a real nice pay day. Thanks Raven.
