also little em,was not trying to sound negative about work,i am very greatful to have employment,you know i am a positive person,its just when gas,health insurance,etc-all have doubled in the last 2 or 3 years-its really tough to have much fun money,if you are trying to plan for down the road-ANYWAY THANKS FOR GETTING THE GROUP STIRRED UP-SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY TIMES WE ALL COME TOGETHER ANYMORE-FOR EXAMPLE-THE CHADO IN-DATE THREAD-lol !!!!

The economy has hit us all... my department was staffed by 12 people about three years ago, we are now 3 with a part-timer who also covers the mailroom and some IT. The work load is the same, just three of us to do it all, 60+ hour weeks are now the norm, not the exception. The IT guys also had the nerve to block all of the gambling forums and horse racing sites (thank god for my smartphone and a USB cable).

I have never stopped handicapping and betting - if anything I have reviewed and further scrutinzed my wagering to be more efficient and selective. Taking a 'leave' from the sports/racing forums I have always enjoyed posting at was really more a function of time than interest.

Chung - glad that some of the old timers are still here and that you guys remember some of us that were active years ago and then gone for a while... Horses have been my bread and butter while I have dabbled in baseball and college football... for now, I'll just stick to posting my ponies...

Monte, kb opened a thread in every forum because you were not responding to the one where people were asking where you were and you really were not responding to much. He most likely did it to see if he could get some, any, response. You told us you would get back to us in the admin forum too where we were asking about you and never did.

I know i had many talks with joe about him calling you and/or him calling your family too because i/WE were convinced something had happened to you. You were gone like 16 + days and we had never ever seen you do that unannounced. We/People were really worried and when you came back and basically said nothing or didn't respond to any of it, it no doubt irritated many and rubbed them the wrong way. When you care about people like many more than you think here care about you and they all get in no other words, blown off for their concern, it makes them say fuck it, why did i bother caring in the 1st place.

Just being real monte because i KNOW that is how people felt and when i see you say things like you were not even sure if it was sincere anyway, that is kind of a slap in the face to all who posted and do care.

How would I know to respond when I hadn't logged in for quite some time. That doesn't give the person the permission to go into almost every forum and ask where I'm at. I believe Dimer told him you should post it every forum.

The sincere comment was posted towards KB. Not everyone on the forum.

Monte what i was saying was just one word either yes the product was good or i didn't like it would have been enough for me, but i never knew if you received the pkg. Or not !!

Yeah, I received it and think it's a great product with a lot of potential.

Monte, I haven't posted here in a while for numerous reasons. One of them is that I can't keep my mouth shut when I see stupid stuff said and the bashing that goes on and I just think its better for me not to be here because I don't want to get involved - nor do I care to get involved - in stupid internet bullying/stupidity.
I do check in here a few times a week under "GUEST" just to see what is going on.
My point with you Monte, is that some people were worried about what was going on with you.
When you come back, all you did was bash one of the guys that has been on here every day while others were staying away.
I know KB and you have had run ins, but you were out of line in your comments - and you, being the owner of this site, should ALWAYS take the high road, BECAUSE it is guys like KB that make your site successful.
I'm sorry about the stress that you are going thru but you shouldn't have said anything here unless it was positive.

Just my opinion and writing shit like this is why I am not and probably won't be a regular here anymore. I hope your marketing goes well and I hope your site is successful and I am smart enough to know that this site will be here whether I post here again.

I wouldn't call it bashing. When someone posts in every thread asking where I'm at it's obvious that I haven't been around so why do you over and over?

I understand what you're saying, but its hard to take the higher ground when I feel that people are giving me shit.

One point to ponder is that none of you guys that met on here and became friends would of happened unless I bought scripts, servers etc.

Then again it takes posters to keep the site alive. So my point is that integrity is a 2 way street.

this is still the best forum on the net.i know we always dont understand each other at all times just like a family but we do honestly care about each other and that is what sets this forum apart from others.i can see both sides here i know at first kb was sincere because we all were i know i was concerned and even came back 2 days later and asked joe if he had heard anything.i remember the first time you were having problems when the board found out monte you had alot of support and well wishes.i know alot of people disagree about political views and when this happens its hard to distinguish between being sincere and a jab.but i know everyone on this forum would not give a jab if they knew it was health realted.when people here spent nights praying hoping everything is ok for someone and not hearing from them for 16 days when they dont hear anything they expect the worst.when you did come back and when it was asked if u was ok we heard nothing.that is why kb asked in every forum just trying to find out if everything is ok with you or not.i think it was kb's way of trying to get a response.when you did not he did the $500 for the site i understand you took that as a jab when i think he was just joking and making light of the situation

If something was seriously wrong my mom would call Joe and let him know. Not trying to make excuses either.
