Day After a Sweep Plays
Went 5-0 yesterday, the day after I got ass raped by the book. Go figure, some days your the bug and some days your the windshield. Let's hope I continue on as the windshield. BOL to everyone and lets finish strong as we wait for the sweet 16.
5* POD Fairfield -4' over Kent State (NIT). In the past 5 days Kent State has had to travel to the west coast to play St. Marys and then to the east coast to play Fairfield today. Even if you are 20 years old that a lot of traveling in less than a week. Don't be fooled by Kent State's win over St Marys. After getting stiffed by the selection committee it was obvious St. Marys had no desire to play in this tournament, whereas Fairfield had to go and play a tough Colorado State in Colorado. Fairfield is home where they have a 13-3 SU record and are 8-5 ATS and 3-0 ATS when favored by 6 points or less. Kent State is 10-27 ATS in their last 37 lined non conference games. Fairfield wins 75-66.
5* Texas -6 over Arizona. Texas has a very big rebounding edge over Arizona. Texas had trouble this year with teams who could hang with them on the boards
4* N.C. -4 over Washington. Since this game is in Charlotte you know the crowd is going to be 98% pro Carolina.
2* Michigan +11' over Puke, I mean Dook.
