POD San Francisco -4 over Idaho. As I stated yesterday it is often times difficult to cap these second rate tournaments because you are unsure as to the motivation of each team. Well there is no doubt that S.F. is motivated to play in this tournament. This is the first post season tournament of any kind for S.F. since 2005, whereas Idaho went to the same tournament in 2009. S.F won 12 of 15 home games including wins over Gonzaga and Colorado. They have 2 narrow losses on neutral courts to teams in the NCAA tournament. They lost by 6 to S.D. State and by 4 to Gonzaga in their conference tournamnet. In post season when teams are playing out of conference I put a lot of credence in each team's strength of schedule as the only true barometer for capping games. In this game S.F.'s SOS is ranked 95th while Idaho's is 173rd. Really like S.F to cover easily.

USC -4' over VCU. VCU don't have the horses to match up with USC on the inside. VCU is 319th in defensive rebounding so I look for USC to get a lot of second chances. Unless VCU shoots lights out I don't think they can hang with USC whose SOS is 39 while VCU is 89.

    Cal -4' over Ole Piss.

BOL to all. Will probably start posting my plays for the NCAA tournament later today in a separate thread. One more day till the Big Dance. Can't wait.

Like your plays! Went with both ml plays with sf and usc. Like cal but all action on them and line movement scares me a little! Good luck tonight!
