Friday's Play of the Day, Week and Month
Michigan +3 over Illinois. Really like this play a lot. I am posting it now because I played it now and I think the line goes down closer to game time. Michigan has been a cover machine this season. They started the Big 10 season 1-6 and wound up 9-9, going 8-3 the rest of the way. Michigan has covered 10 of their last 11 games. In all lined games they are 18-8 ATS, 10-4 ATS as a dog and 12-6 ATS versus conference opponents.
Both teams are bubble teams having the exact overall record 19-12 and the exact same conference record at 9-9. More than likely the winner goes dancing and the loser goes to the NIT. Michigan and Illinois met once this year at Illinois. Illinois wound up winning that game 54-52. The bottom line is I think Michigan is playing much better ball the last 6 weeks than Illinois. After starting the Big 10 season at 4-2 they finished going 5-7. BOL to all. Will post a few small plays later in the day.
