Indiana is playing terribly and may be blowing its chance for that undeserved 8th playoff spot in the east. The Pacers have lost six of seven, including last night which was their only home game in a two week stretch. They've given up over 50 percent shooting two of the last three. That's death against an uptempo team like Minnesota. Kevin Love is making history right now and even though he's banged up, he'll likely have his double-double before halftime against the Pacers. Minnesota is only 15-50 SU and that makes this pick a hard sell, but they continue to play hard and right now have the hottest player in the league.
(I thought about making this a 4* GOY but, in the interest of full disclosure, my NBA has been poor all season (although I won last night) and am restricting it to a 3* play. This will probably be my strongest play of the regular season in the NBA.)
