Huge NCAA Play Tonight
Northeastern -2 over Delaware. No I haven't lost my mind. I have a lot of reasons why I like this game. This game is a 6:00 tipoff and is being played on a neutral court in Richmond VA.
Delaware beat NE twice this year 54-52 at home and 72-66 on the road. Statistically they are pretty even, NE is averaging 67 pts a game while Del is avg. 63.5 a game. FG % NE=45%, Del.= 41%, FT shooting= NE 75%, Del.70%, 3pt shooting = NE 38%, Del. 34%. NE is 15-13-1 ATS while Del. is 10-15 ATS.
Bottom line is these 2 teams seem to be going in opposite directions at the end of the year. Delaware lost 7 of their last 9 games while NE is 7-4 in their last 11. One of NE's losses was in the second to last game of the year when they almost upset George Mason losing by 6. Delaware is 1-4 in their last 4 conference tournaments, losing in the first round 3 times. Their 4 losses were by 10, 23, 13, and 17. I think NE bitch slaps the Blue Hens by double digits tonight.
