    Det vs Tor
Left-hander Brad Thomas and right-hander Robbie Weinhardt, both bullpen candidates, are scheduled to follow Coke, as are right-hander Alberto Alburquerque and prospect Duane Below. Brett Cecil, who tossed seven innings of two-run ball in his only start against Detroit last year, is slated to start for Toronto.

The Tigers will send a good portion of their positional roster on the trip, including Jackson, Alex Avila, Brandon Inge, Scott Sizemore, Boesch and Ryan Raburn. Cale Iorg, son of former Blue Jays great Garth Iorg, is also on the travel roster.

Cecil will be followed by right-hander Scott Richmond, who is also expected to put in two innings of work. Richmond is one of seven candidates for the final two spots in Toronto's rotation. After Richmond, the pitching schedule will be rounded out with David Purcey, Wilfredo Ledezma, Jesse Carlson, Mike Hinckley and Luis Perez. If necessary, right-handers Alan Farina and Henderson Alvarez will be available to throw an inning or two.

Philadelphia left-hander Cole Hamels will start Saturday. Vance Worley, Ryan Feierabend, Brian Schlitter and Mike Zagurski also are scheduled to pitch.

Bartolo Colon will start with Joba Chamberlain, Dave Robertson, David Phelps, Hector Noesi and Eric Wordekemper are also scheduled to pitch for New York.

Girardi said that he plans to send all of his regular lineup to the plate against Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels, save for catcher Russell Martin, whose first appearance is being delayed by injury.

The Yankees are usually very high priced in spring training but I am leaning towards them right now.
