2nd half plays and discusion in game thread

Ok guys here is a little history behind this to let u know why we are doing this.About 3-4 years ago late at night was not alot of people on line here.Bryce,Me,Waynechung,Ldawg and a couple other degenerates we would play late games 2nd half plays.What we would do was take into account what the final spread and total was compared to what happened in the first half.We would joke around what we thought the 2nd half total would be.Alot of times we were pretty close to what the 2nd half odds actually were.We posted the plays and what was so fun was the fact that all of us was on the same side win or lose.There were alot of great times back then.We won some and we lost some but most importantly we had a great time following the game.

well that is the history anyone here we would love for u to participate.All u have to do is post the 2nd half Play you like.Any pick posted in this thread will count as a play and i will try to keep a record of how we are doing. Hope we can have just half the good times we had back then.

I dont get home till 11:00 est so i will for sure be paying attention to the 10:00-10:30 starting games.Will post what i can on early games but since i am at work its hard to get a feel for the game just looking at boxscores.So good luck to any that follow lets try to win some $$$$$$.

Last Nights Syracuse Villanova game is a good example at how this works.
The first half score was Cuse 29-27.That is 56 points for the first half.2nd half line comes out at 73.My first thought is that the oddsmakers must think there is going to be alot of points because they put the line at 14 points higher than the first half.I was stupid and played the under just because i watched the first half and thought no way do they put up 37 a piece but they did and it went over without much problem.
The best capper in the world is the oddsmaker so sometimes when u take the closing line subtract the 1st half you can see what the oddsmakers are expecting to happen in the 2nd half.I am not even close to being an expert gambler this might not even be profitable but if we can get an edge why not try.Like i said before Its kind of dead around BettorsChat at midnight and not many threads going on.It was the night shifts urgent thread.So at worst we will be having fun talking the shit here rather than searching Golden greeks porn thread LOL LOL LOL

Wow the first half total for ohio st illinois was posted at 62.They have already scored 62 and still have 6:10 to play in first quarter.Yes i was on the under but damn wonder what the oddsmakers are going to set the 2nd half at after this scorching first half.Cant be more than 70 in my opinion

ok this is what i got Ohio state Illinois under 74 2nd half BIG PLAY

the line for the first half was 62 and they scored 79.The line for 2nd half comes out and it opens at 73 then jumps to 74.The oddsmakers could not be that wrong after missing the first half total by 17 so i think this second half goes under the 74.Good luck on whoever play
