NCAA BB Plays for Saturday (Major Play)
Michigan State -2 over Illinois. I absolutely love this game. I will take Izzo over Bruce Weber any day of the week. Let's face it, almost every game from here on out is an elimination game for MSU. They are 14-12 with 5 games left. They are probably gonna have to win out or at worse go 4-1 for any chance to get into the tournament. In addition ESPN's Game Day is going to be in East Lansing. They will only serve to jack the players and fans up more than usual. The show runs from 9-12. Izzo is encouraging all the students to pack the Breslin Center for the show and the game. MSU knows that this is a showcase game that everyone will be watching. They have already lost once to Illinois. They know that if they lose again at home to them it may very well kill their chances at the tournament. I look for Izzo to have them ready to give a maximum effort. Even though MSU has struggled this year they are still 10-2 SU at home and 5-1 SU in conference play at home. Getting them at almost a pick-em is too good to pass up.
