This is going to probably be my largest bet of the NFL playoffs and third largest this football season behind Maryland and LSU bowl games. Just played it because I think the line goes against me later in the week.
Packers +2 over Falcons plus a smaller ML +115 as well. I think the Falcons and Matt Ryans' aura of invincibility in the Georgia Dome was put to rest by the Saints a few weeks ago. In the Packers 20-17 loss in week 12 to the Falcons the Packers put up 418 total yards and that was without a running game. Aaron Rogers was the leading rusher for GB with 56 yards. I am not saying this guy Starks is the second coming of Barry Saunders but he will give the Falcons something to think about beside keying on Rogers. The key play in that game was a goal line fumble by Rogers. McCarthy had Rogers run the ball in that situation because GB had nobody else he could trust.
Packers' defense is playing at a high level. Matthews is a non-stop maniac and I think their corners will shut down Roddy White and his buddies. I think Packers win the game SU but will gladly take the 2 points. Will post my other plays in this thread closer to the weekend. BOL if you tag along.
