This game reminds me somewhat of last night's game. You have a pure drop back QB in Mallett going against a Michael Vick want to be in Pryor. Similar to the Luck/Taylor matchup. I am going with the better pure QB. Besides I always say never go against a streak. Last night Beramer was 1-18 in his career playing against a team ranked in the top 5. Now he is 1-19. Tressel is 0-9 against the SEC while at OSU. Tomorrow he will be 0-10. BOL if you follow.

The streak includes losses to Florida and LSU in the BCS title games for the 2006 and 2007 seasons & began w/ Woody.

The first time Ohio State met an SEC team in the postseason was when Woody Hayes' Buckeyes met Paul "Bear" Bryant's Alabama Crimson Tide in the 1977 Sugar Bowl. Bama bashed the Buckeyes 35-6. Next in the streak came losses to Auburn in the 1989 Hall of Fame Bowl, and three Florida Citrus Bowl losses to Georgia in 1992, Alabama in 1994, and Tennessee in 1995. Then there were back-to-back Outback Bowl defeats to South Carolina in 2000 and 2001, followed by the two BCS title game losses.
