  • CFB Saturday

    CFB YTD 36-26 +9.7 units
    4* GIY 1-1 -0.4 units
    2* 7-4 +5.2 units
    1* 28-21 +4.9 units
    Bowls 4-3 +2.6 units

I hit my bowl GOY yesterday with Notre Dame as dogs continue to dominate.

    1* Northwestern +9 1/2
Each of the last two times Fitzgerald took Northwestern to a bowl they were huge dogs and they covered both times. The following statement is controversial but I'm willing to back it up: the Big 10 was underrated this year and the Big 12 was overrated (did you catch Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas State and Baylor flop?). T-Tech just isn't that good and ended the season with two patsies. Northwestern's defense is maligned because it was torched its last two games by Illinois and Wisconsin but the offense is actually quite good and the QB, Persa, has amazing accuracy. Take the poiints in a shootout.

    1* Penn State +7
I bet Penn State every year in its bowl for a simple reason. Paterno is the best bowl coach ever (24-11 SU!). This is another play on the underrated Big 10 (already 2-0 in bowls). Florida's situation is a mess with prima donna Meyer a lame duck coach, most of his staff job-hunting, the offensive coordinator job being handed to Charlie Weis---all of which means huge distraction for the players and a coaching staff focused on other things.

    NFL:
(posted earlier at the lines below)
    3* Lions -3
    1* Texans -2 1/2 (-120)
1* Seahawks +3 (this line will move to at least pick 'em if Hasselback plays)

I am a Tech grad and live in dallas (not going to the game) but i agree they do not cover, just cant bet against them. Good luck!
I'm 5-11" or 6-2" depending on which convenience store I'm coming out of.

I wouldn't touch NW with Persa out. His backup played the final 2 games and completed 53% of his passes for 300 yards, 1 TD and 4 ints.

You're right about Persa but even without him they scored 27 against Illinois and 23 against Wisconsin.
