  • ***NFL Week 17 Weiners***

Planning on closing out the season with a bang

    NFL
    318 Green Bay Packers -10 (5 Units)
This sets up too nicely. Unless the Atl Falcons lose to the worst team in football, at home, off a home lose, in the morning game, this afternoon game is meanless to the Bears, and means everything to the Packers. Bears have to rest their starters, and the Packers will kill them. 38-10

    7 Point Teasers (-120) (5 units)
    306 Indianapolis Colts -3/318 GreenBay Packers -3
Indy needs to win to get in, and the Titans need Vince Young Back

I will not be surprised if....
The Chiefs bench their starters and Oakland wins
The Patriots bench their starters and still beat the Dolphins. Chad Henne is terrible
The Redskins beat the Giants. The Giants are a disaster, it's like they're begging for Coughlin to be fired

    Good luck everybody

Every year coaches say that. Once they're down at half he'll pull the starters.

ESPN Chicago reports that the Bears gave backups such as Kahlil Bell and Kellen Davis increased practice reps this week, indicating that they may play more than usual in Week 17 against Green Bay.
The report cites "multiple team sources," who say players like Bell were informed to be ready for extensive action. Beat writer Michael C. Wright names Matt Forte, in particular, as a starter who could be rested despite coach Lovie Smith's insistence all week that the Bears would play to win. It's unclear when the starters would be pulled. Jay Cutler, Greg Olsen, Julius Peppers, and Lance Briggs are other obvious candidates for rest.

Thanks for the update B Dub, I'm definately using the Pack in a 10 pt teaser.

Much like pro bowl it's impossible to play football well with no motivation and after we'd welkers injury last year, no coach wants that on them going into the playoffs

Really like Texans but tough to go big on such a meaningless game for them

I think they'll try to get Arian Foster the rushing title, and will succeed. I expect a huge game from him.
